Silver decorated Cossack officer's Caucasian style officer's belt from the time of the Russian-British Crimea war of 1850's.

Used as a part of Cossack uniform with is evident from a "Caucasian" silver galun ribbon on the the edges of the belt. Profusely decorated with hand-chased and nielloed silver details. Large silver buckle has a chased image of a bird - traditional Cossack symbol of Liberty and Freedom.
