Fine Russian combined hunting sword and flintlock pistol. Circa 1760-70 with earlier blade, probably Tula.
With straight slender blade double-edged at the point at the forte fitted with pistol barrel and lock mechanism on the right under an oval shell-guard cast with with a demonic mask, on a carved horn grip with a bronze pommel depicting a hound and hare.
Condition: Some rust and minor orrosion on the steel parts. Original repair on the blade as shown.
