Pattern 1882 Infantry general's service hat in a la Russe Style.

Classic general rank’s cap in Pan-Slavic style instituted during Alexander III’s era. Red wool crown with wide black faux fleece band covering the rise, front mounted with silver plated Imperial eagle surmounted by For Excellence award scroll and officer’s cockade. Trimmed in silver bullion cord and silver ribbon cross on the crown in general’s zigzag pattern. Lined in black cotton with leather sweatband and paper store label of A. Vinnale, Warsaw-Pernov.

Condition: Minor loss of silver plating on brass parts but overall well-preserved specimen in original condition with all original parts.
