Model 1910 parade shako of a Life Guards general without regimental affiliation.

Superbly preserved Nicholas II era general rank bell crown type shako in red wool covered body with lower gold band in general rank’s zigzag pattern. Silver-plated enameled star of order of St. Andrew the First Called, reserved for Life-Guards regiments mounted over gilt Imperial eagle. Gold-plated brass leather-backed chinscales. Gold cord all-around podves held by gold-plated brass buttons with Imperial eagles. Lacquered black leather top and visor. Red silk "curtains" type liner with leather sweatband.
Condition: Minor craquelures on lacquered top and visor, but overall superbly preserved condition with all original parts including rarely seen general's 3-color feather sultan.
