Round bowl form egraved with Pan Slavic motifs and traditional proverb in Cyrillic around the perimeter "Without salt and bread, half of the dinner is gone".
Stamped with 84 zolotniks silver mark, Moscow town mark, Assayer's mark for Andrey Kovalsky dated 1882, and maker's mark "AK" for Arkip Kuzmichev.
