Russian c. 1950s gilt silver, enamel, ivory and stones decorated presentation Coffee set in the Imperial Pan Slavic style made in Caucasus.
Such Pan Slavic style silver objects were made in the Caucasus in 1950-1960's using traditional techniques to be presented by the Soviet government as gift to visiting foreign dignitaries.
This 6-person complete set consists of 16 items including a heavy solid silver tray all profusely decorated with polychrome enamel, hand-carved ivory, semi-precious stones, filligree and hand chased ornamentation. This richly decorated "over the top" set will enrich any Russian silver collection or serve as an original and memorable present.
