Fancy Russian officer's double award St. George / St. Anne shashka made by an elite manufacturer Schaff & Sons.

Description: Decorated blade is dated 1894 and engraved with Nicholas II cypher and Russian Imperial Eagle in ornamental cartouches. It has a stamp of elite St. Petersburg manufacturer Schaff & Sons. Gilt brass fittings with oak leaves. A gilt enameled badge of the order of St. George is attached to the lanet, while brass enameled WW1 era badge of the order of St. Anne 4th class and scroll "For Gallantry" is attached to the scabbard. The pommel is decorated with the cipher of Nicholas II and iscription "For Gallantry." Original knot in St. George colors.

Condition: All original parts, showing some wear and some loss of enamel on a central medallion of the St. George badge. Some rust on the blade, but no corrosion.
