ca. 1750's Sind Indo-Persian Ambassador's ceremonial axe with concealed dagger.
A superb example of a scarce Indo-Persian Ceremonial - Battle Ax with crescent axe-blade. Profusely decorated with gold and silver washed patterned designs. Shaft of handle is hollow and conceals a small screw-in dagger inside.
L: 20 in ( 51 cm ) long
Condition:
Very good original condition, showing minor wear, minor scratches on the blade and minor loss of silver and gold wash.
